THE ORIGINALS More than a thousand years ago, a mother made a desperate decision that would change the world forever. In order to protect her family from great danger, she cast a spell that made them powerful and nearly immortal-- she made them into the original vampires. Elijah had always been the most sensible and restrained of his siblings, and at least on the surface, this continued into his immortal life. Passing through the years, he maintains and cultivates an image of refinement and restraint, constantly clad in impeccably tailored suits and speaking in calm, even tones. But Elijah is still very much a vampire, and capable of the most heinous cruelty and savagery, in many ways worse even than his more overtly bloodthirsty siblings. He has his own deep moral center, though, and horrified by his own viciousness, locks away that part of him behind a red door within his mind, shut so tight even Elijah sometimes forgets its existence. |
Elijah is played from a default canon point somewhere between seasons two and three of the series, but is flexible, including any flashback time period desired. I can play in action or prose, past or present tense, as needed. I'm not the fastest tagger, but will happily backtag a thread forever, so don't worry when RL gets in the way. Mun and muse are 21+ Elijah belongs to the CW, Daniel Gillies is his own person, and I lay claim to neither. |
